Nestled in the heart of Maamelteine, the Mateus Hotel beautifully merges comfort with modern design, offering a delightful escape for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, whose dedication to ensuring a splendid stay was palpable, particularly from Zeina, whose efforts were truly commendable. The room I upgraded to provided a tranquil ambiance, featuring air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom complete with luxuriously soft bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. While I opted out of breakfast, the location's proximity to the beachfront charm and vibrant nightlife-just a 10-minute stroll away-more than compensated for it. The central positioning makes it easy to explore nearby attractions like Jounieh and Jbeil, especially with a car, which I highly recommend for a fuller experience. With excellent value for money and thoughtful amenities, including room service and a welcoming atmosphere, Mateus Hotel is a gem worth discovering for discerning travelers.
